Conduct and Behavior Guidelines
At Baton Rouge Spurs we are so thankful to have you join us during the matches. Here’s a few things to keep in mind. We are extremely grateful to have a fantastic bar like Pelican to Mars willing to show our matches every week and we want to keep it that way. Since Pelican to Mars is the only bar in town that regularly shows soccer matches, it means we get to interact with some great fans from other clubs. It also means we sometimes have to interact with fans of rival football clubs in those games, It may be easy just to remember,
Don’t be a D.I.C.K.
D- Don’t be delusional.
The premier League isn’t known for it’s consistent refereeing we get it. But complaining about a call for 90 minutes is a bit much
I- Insult the play, not the person.
Did their striker rocket the ball halfway to the Moon? Yes, a little banter adds to the fun of these big matches but insulting their fans crosses the line
C- Celebrate. Don’t instigate.
let’s celebrate when our team does well. There’s no need to get into other people’s faces or parading an irrelevant trophy around. If we win, who does that? let’s keep it classy.
K- Keep the peace (and the pints.)
Don’t be the reason the bartender shuts the match off and you don’t want to get tossed from the bar over again either
